Comments on Obama's ISIL Speech

Barack Obama gave a speech on Sept 10, 2014 supposedly outlining his strategy against the terrorist group he once called "junior varsity". When a group can garner the attention of the president of America so much so that he makes a prime time speech about them, who would call them "jv"? Only Obama. Here are my summarized comments on the speech:

COMMENTS ON OBAMA'S SPEECH:

  1. ISIL is more Islamic than Obama, since it follows Muhammad in demanding people convert or die as instructed in the Qur'an.
  2. Some religions DO call for killing other people.
  3. The Syrian opposition is ISIL, supporting them is supporting ISIL.
  4. It is the "Bush Doctrine" to "hunt terrorists where ever they are", however doesn't that disrespect other nation's sovereignty? I thought Obama hated the so-called "arrogant" and "imperialistic" America?
  5. Air Strikes are insufficient as Obama pointed out, the terrorists don't behave like a traditional military. What will Obama do if/when the terrorists hide in hospitals, mosques and other places like they did in Gaza?
  6. Sending in troops with "no combat" role is stupid-talk, since it implies that these troops won't be attacked and therefore need not fight back. Benghazi anyone?
  7. The word "barbarism" which Obama used comes from the word "Barbary" as in the Barbary pirates (ie Muslims) that attacked American tradeships in 1789. The very concept of barbarism is Islamic.
  8. Obama once again told the enemy we'll be retreating from Afghanistan "later this year".
  9. If we wanted a truly successful Iraq and Afghanistan we wouldn't have allowed them to reconstitute as Islamic nations in that their constitutions actually name Islam as the state religion. We should have forbade that.
  10. ISIL and the more terrorists to come are merely by-products of the so-called "Arab Spring", which encouraged radicals to overthrow their at least stable governments. At least the Egyptians were able to retake their country from Obama's hand picked terrorists; the Muslim Brotherhood.
